One of my favorite breakfasts in Detroit. We’ve been coming here for years and it never disappoints. There’s always a wait, but they are very efficient. Once you’re in, the service is great and the food even better. This time around we enjoyed an omelette and the chef’s special hash. Didn’t know there is one in Rochester too - we will definitely have to make our way over there soon!

Great service and great food! Ordered the goat cheese and mushroom omelette. So fresh! The peach mimosa is also a must. My server was great. Sat at the bar and could see them prep the food which was cool. A high recommend in a great location in downtown Detroit- right near Cadillac square.

This is a place that always feels lively and fun. We had a great time sitting at the bar, enjoying the view of the cooks as they worked, their passion really shows! We loved almost everything; however, the breakfast potatoes were a bit cold and lacked flavor. I tried the biscuits and gravy with French fries, which were absolutely delicious. My wife enjoyed her Mexican omelette and fresh orange juice, and everything was just right. The service was wonderful, and they accepted both cash and card, making it even more convenient.

This was our second time visiting dime store and we love it! Especially on weekends, you will most likely have a wait so be mindful of that. The wait is worth it. The menu has a wide selection of entrees with something that everyone in your party will love. We ordered the fruit pebbles waffle as a table starter and everyone loved it. I ordered the spicy chicken Cuban bowl and while it was good, there was no flavor or spice at all. I added hot sauce to amp it up but probably won’t order that again. Everyone else with me really enjoyed their entrees. The Cappuccino and vanilla latte were yummy. The service though is what always makes this place the best- our waitresses are always so kind, prompt, and on top of it. We will definitely be back!

All I can say is CHEF KISS the food was amazing as you can see in the images. The waitress was so sweet and helpful. The atmosphere was homey and cozy. I will be back again for sure!

We came at peak hours on a Saturday but only had to wait 20 minutes for a table. Everyone was very attentive and offered exceptional service. Everyone enjoyed their food and I really liked the Southwest Chicken Hash and the Korean Fries. My only little nitpick was that because the hash has slaw and a peach jam, there were different temperatures across the dish, but it wasn't unpleasant or anything I would be too mad about. I do wish that the hot ingredients were a bit hotter to offset the colder ingredients, but the plate was still very tasty and fresh.

Greeted warmly and seated immediately regardless of how busy it was . If you want to enjoy a good breakfast with good options come here. I like trying different things while dining in different cities. So let's get started, we ordered pork belly and grits, brioche french toast , and Mexican street corn hash. All if them were so good! The fresh fruit on the french toast was an amazing touch idk it seems super regular but that fruit was different lol. Mexcian hash was everything I thought it would be all the flavors go well together. Pork belly and grits I heard was amazing! Overall we had a good dine !

October 2025 The food was absolutely delicious. Hats off to the kitchen staff! The service was outstanding from the host taking our name to "Sydney D on receipt" the wait staff. On leaving, they noticed we didn't have a bag for our leftovers, went to get one. Greeted us on the way in and on the way out with gratitude for dining there today. On special is the pork belly and grits. Cooked to perfection. The 3 slices of pork belly were tender and then lightly seared. Grits not too cheesy, not too grainy, not too thin, just right! Soo good! This dish was then garnished with tomatoes, arugula and a drizzle of balsamic glaze. Ordered the Cheesesteak Benny, which is eggs benedict (2 perfectly poached eggs on top of English muffin) with shaved ribeye, topped with melted cheddar cheese and a side of roasted potatoes. This is a savory hearty dish. The potatoes were nice and crisp. One negative is that the muffin was too done. I could hardly cut through with my knife. Freshly squeezed orange juice and Zingerman's coffee to go with our meal. We were watching as other dishes came out too, all looked amazing, from the huge omelets, hash dishes, to the popular biscuits and gravy. Thoroughly impressed each time I've been here! Highly recommend! They don't take reservations. There's almost always a line to get in. Average wait time for 2 people today (Sunday) around 130pm was 30 minutes. They close 3pm. No dinner service.
